Speed Park is a comprehensive entertainment park located in Sichuan, China. In early 2023, it plans to introduce karting projects to fill the gap in the park's power based amusement facilities. After evaluating multiple suppliers, the park side ultimately chose to cooperate with us - we will provide a one-stop solution from kart selection, track design, venue construction to operational support.
Pain points in demand
The core demands of Speed Park are focused on three aspects: firstly, maximizing the utilization rate of the venue. The reserved go kart area in the park is an irregular polygon with an area of only 3000 square meters. The primary challenge is how to design a safe and fun track in a limited space; The second is the breadth of customer base coverage, which needs to meet the experiential needs of multiple customer groups such as families, young couples, and corporate team building; The third is the control of operating costs, which requires high convenience in equipment maintenance and the ability to reduce manpower investment through intelligent systems.
Solution
In response to the above requirements, we have customized a three-layer solution:
Equipment selection: Equipped with 10 200cc adult racing go karts (with a maximum speed of 60km/h) and 8 120cc parent-child two person go karts (equipped with a passenger brake system), all vehicles use Honda engines to ensure stable power and emission standards.
Track design: Adopting a "dual track system" layout, the main track is 850 meters long, including 3 consecutive S-turns and 2 right angle overtaking points; A 200m parent-child safety track is set up on the inside, with movable isolation barriers for time-sharing reuse, maximizing the use of venue space.
Intelligent system: implanted with a kart timing and scoring system, supporting real-time viewing of score rankings through WeChat mini programs; Install 16 high-definition monitoring and AI collision warning devices, which automatically emit sound and light reminders when the distance between two vehicles is less than 3m.
Implementation results
Since its implementation in July 2023, the project has achieved unexpected results:
Revenue data: Received 12000 visitors in the first month, with the highest daily revenue exceeding 50000 yuan. The go kart project contributed 35% of the overall revenue of the park; The proportion of enterprise team building orders reached 28%, among which a certain car brand held a test drive event here, setting a record of 120 participants per order.
Operational efficiency: The intelligent timing system reduces the number of ticket inspectors from 6 to 2, controls the vehicle failure rate within 1.2 times per month, and reduces annual maintenance costs by 22% compared to the industry average.
Customer feedback: The Meituan platform has a positive rating rate of 4.8 points, with "high safety of parent-child race track" and "challenging race track design" becoming high-frequency evaluation words.
